About the Role
Step into a key leadership position as an After-Hours Coordinator, where you’ll play an essential role in ensuring safe, high-quality care and smooth operations across our facility outside of regular hours. You’ll lead and support a dedicated nursing team, deliver frontline clinical care in the Emergency Department, and make critical operational decisions that directly impact patient outcomes.

Working in a welcoming, close-knit, and friendly team, you’ll enjoy the rewards of a small community environment, where your contribution truly makes a difference. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician seeking variety and autonomy in a dynamic rural setting.


What We’re Looking For

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Emergency trained Registered Nurse – essential
  • Proficient in emergency care, with experience in triage and Advanced Life Support (ALS)
  • Proven ability to lead during critical incidents and manage complex situations calmly and effectively
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor staff
  • Experience in a rural setting and working with dynamic models of care
  • Flexibility, problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work autonomously while being well supported by your team

This includes mentorship from your colleagues, regular check-ins with your direct line manager, and ongoing training opportunities.
