What you'll be doing
The Project Manager will contribute to the implementation of the key initiatives within Southern LHD. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI), eHealth, LHD managers and clinicians to facilitate the implementation of priority projects. This position will undertake the full role of project management activities including project planning, stakeholder engagement, milestone reporting, implementation and evaluation.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated tertiary qualifications or experience in the implementation of projects and initiatives in a challenging environment.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organisations or teams simultaneously, while balancing competing objectives.
  3. Proven ability to successfully manage and support multidisciplinary teams in a public sector environment to provide quality service delivery.
  4. Proven ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement strategies with senior clinicians and executives.
  5. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
  6. Demonstrated high level of information communication and technology skills.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of contemporaneous models of health care.
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
