What you'll be doing
In this important administrative role, you will coordinate elective admissions and manage waiting list processes while delivering high-quality customer service to patients and internal stakeholders.
· Process Recommendation for Admission (RFA) forms and maintain the electronic elective surgery waiting list
· Coordinate clinic and theatre bookings and communicate appointment details with patients
· Liaise with internal departments and external services to support elective admissions
· Monitor and audit waiting lists to ensure compliance with policy and timeframes
· Maintain accurate records while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Selection Criteria:
1. Proven relevant experience in admissions and bookings processes
2. Experience with computerised patient administration systems
3. Sound knowledge of NSW Health Waiting Time and Elective Surgery Policy
4. Experience in a customer service role demonstrating effective interpersonal skills
5. Demonstrated ability to work productively within a team, and to work autonomously when required
6. Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities
7. Demonstrated understanding of Medical Terminology
