Join our friendly and welcoming team in the Day Surgery Unit at Armidale Hospital. You'll be part of a fast-paced unit committed to delivering the highest standard of care to patients and their families.

This is a Monday to Friday role with a 7:00 AM start and flexible finishing time.

📝 What Will You Do?
As a Ward Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the unit and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones and providing outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Assisting with data entry, admissions, and discharges
  • Supporting the team by managing paperwork, filing, and ordering supplies

You’ll receive comprehensive training and ongoing support and mentorship to help you succeed and grow in the role.

👤 Who Are We Looking For?

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible and adaptable approach in a busy environment
  • Experience in medical administration or a healthcare setting (highly valued but not essential)
