  1. Aboriginality. Aboriginality is considered a genuine qualification for this position and is authorised under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of education and learning programs for a range of delivery modes.
  3. Strong connection to and understanding of the historical and social issues impacting on contemporary health outcomes and health education priorities for Aboriginal people and demonstrated understanding of issues faced by Aboriginal communities in the greater western Sydney region.
  4. Possess Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and application of adult learning principles, and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with Senior Management, other stakeholders and all staff within the organisation.
  5. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation, mediation, consultation and communication skills, with proven experience to strategically engage and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve strategic goals, manage multi-faceted projects, meet tight deadlines and produce quality work with strong focus on attention to detail with high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across large and complex organisation.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
  8. High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
