What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Product Nurse Manager, you will lead strategies that optimise the use of clinical products across WSLHD, ensuring they are safe, fit for purpose, cost effective and aligned with contemporary clinical practice. You will work closely with clinicians, suppliers, HealthShare and key stakeholders to drive quality outcomes, procurement compliance and operational efficiency.
Lead clinical product evaluations, approvals and implementation processes across WSLHD
Analyse product utilisation, expenditure and trends to identify quality improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Build strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to support evidence-based product decisions
Coordinate product recalls, safety alerts, catalogue changes and supply continuity activities
Provide expert clinical advice on procurement, contract compliance and product standardisation initiatives

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Current registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW (RN List A)
Demonstrated sound knowledge of clinical products, equipment and their safe application within a clinical environment
Good verbal and written communications skills
Sound analytical skills including the ability to interpret information, prepare reports and formulate strategies for projects development and ongoing management
Sound problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to resolve clinical product and equipment related matters to achieve a clinically focused solution
Demonstrated organisation skills with the ability prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders to support change management initiatives
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
