Selection Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways and be a Fellow of either the RACGP or ACRRM. However, a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine who can demonstrate training and experience in women's health can be considered. Ideal: Have a DRANZCOG DRANZCOG advanced.
- Have training and experience in women's health (eg RACGP Certificate of Women's Health or FPM National Certificate in Sexual & Reproductive Health for Doctors) and be willing to produce the full spectrum of female family planning needs.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in General Practice at the role delineation of the service.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrate maintenance of continuing professional development that supports clinical privileges.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication using information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.
