An exciting position with the VMoney team to examine and process VMO claims for payment. This position will be required to investigate and analyse information to complete audits on Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) claims to ensure accuracy, compliance and appropriateness prior to submission for payment.

What you'll be doing
Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Claims Verification Officer is responsible for examining and processing VMO claims for payment. This position will be required to investigate and analyse information to complete audits on VMO claims to ensure accuracy, compliance and appropriateness prior to submission for payment. 
  
This position will provide advice and guidance to VMOs and relevant stakeholders on VMO claiming and payment matters in relation to the Public Hospital VMO Determination and Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) policy and procedures.

 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

 

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Proven experience working unsupervised within a demanding, busy and complex environment with competing priorities and working to strict deadlines.
  2. Demonstrated high level attention to detail, with excellence in organisation and time management.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in computer systems including Microsoft Office programs and hospital information database that encompass the range and diversity of functions subject to audit
