Violence Abuse and Neglect Nurse Practitioner
Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) who is endorsed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Graduate Certificate in Medical & Forensic Management of Adult Sexual Assault with the Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV) or equivalent, or willingness to complete.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in the application of evidence-based practice in implementing individualised person-centred care, diagnostic and treatment interventions at an advanced level, including violence, abuse and neglect presentations.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical leadership role, negotiation, liaison, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development, a commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, willingness to apply and share professional expertise as a resource person and mentor others within the field of practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability while also working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multi service environment.
- Proven high level knowledge and expertise in complex client centred consultancy, practice development activities including education, policy development and quality improvement.
- Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
