Position Classification: Nurse Practitioner / / Transitional Nurse Practitioner (TNP will be under a maximum of 3-year contract paid at Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 whilst undertaking requirements to become an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner. On endorsement, the position holder will transition to NP Year 1).
Remuneration: $135,826.04 - $154,025.92 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)

About the role
The Nurse Practitioner / Transitional Nurse Practitioner – Haematology/Oncology, provides advanced and extended clinical nursing care to people receiving haematology and oncology services across the cancer care continuum. Working collaboratively with medical oncology, haematology and the multidisciplinary cancer team, the role supports timely assessment, treatment coordination, symptom management, continuity of care and improved patient outcomes within a rural cancer service context. The NP practises autonomously within an approved scope of practice, while the TNP works under clinical supervision while progressing toward nurse practitioner endorsement.
