Transitional Nurse Practitioner (Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2): $135,826.04 - $138,534.10 per annum  + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging 
Nurse Practitioner: $143,851.10 - $154,025.92 per annum + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Selection Criteria

  2. Please advise whether you are applying for this position as a Transitional Nurse Practitioner or a Nurse Practitioner, and respond to the relevant criteria below accordingly. Transitional Nurse Practitioner:  5 years full-time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. An approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which the employee is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.  Nurse Practitioner: Hold a Master’s Degree meeting eligibility for endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Be authorised by the NMBA in accordance with s95 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) No 86a to use the protected title of 'Nurse Practitioner' and therefore utilise the extensions to clinical practice including prescribing, referral, diagnosis, initiation of diagnostics and discharge from care.
  3. Can you describe how you undertake comprehensive patient assessments and use clinical data to inform accurate diagnostic and prescribing decisions within your scope of practice?
  4. Can you provide examples of how you communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams, while also demonstrating leadership through mentoring, education, or quality improvement initiatives?
