Maitland Hospital is seeking motivated and enthusiastic unaccredited trainees to join our Obstetrics & Gynaecology team.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical capability in a supportive, team-oriented environment while gaining valuable experience across a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological care.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop core knowledge and procedural skills in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Participate in teaching, education and quality improvement activities
- Work under the supervision of experienced consultants and senior clinicians

- Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, including providing leadership and direction to ensure appropriate management of patients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise.
- Demonstrated team work, time management and problem solving skills as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to convey information effectively and respectfully to both a clinical and non-clinical audience.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
- A demonstrated high degree of motivation towards achieving an accredited trainee status in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Demonstrated commitment to the RANZCOG training requirements and evidence of other professional development activities.
