About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • You have or willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Strong analytical mindset, willingness to learn how to interpret legislation and compliance data. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate confrontational or high-pressure interactions with professionalism and composure Ability to work flexibly across diverse environments and locations.
  • Proven capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a regulatory environment.

  2. Provide an example of how you have dealt with a challenging stakeholder. What approach did you take to de-escalate the situation and achieve a desired outcome?

Additional information

  • This is a temporary role until June 2027.
  • This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months. 
  • Please note the selection process will include a range of merit-based techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role.
  • If you are Current NSW Health, NSW Ministry of Health and NSW Government staff and are looking for opportunity of Secondment, you must have your manager’s approval prior to expressing interest.
  • You will be required to work in person 5 days a week (38 hours per week), with a combination of office and field work.
  • For preferred applicants as part of the recruitment process, it is a mandatory requirement that you complete a pre-employment health assessment (PEHA) to ensure you can undertake the duties of the position safely.
