Conducts both sponsored and investigator-led clinical trials
Focuses on therapies that may extend life or improve quality of life
Pathology plays a key role, especially in drug trials

What you'll be doing
Join one of NSW’s leading Oncology Clinical Trial Units, Blacktown Medical Oncology Research (BMOR), supporting groundbreaking research that improves patient outcomes. This role focuses on pathology coordination, ensuring high-quality, timely sample handling in clinical trials.
In this role you will:
Coordinate pathology collection, processing, and shipment for clinical trials.
Ensure compliance with strict protocol time points to reduce violations.
Support patient care by improving treatment flow and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with clinical and research staff in a fast-paced unit.
Contribute to research that offers potentially lifesaving therapies.

Selection Criteria
Certificate III/IV in Pathology Collections or relevant qualifications deemed suitable.
Previous experience in pathology services including venepuncture, sample management (collection, processing and shipping) and safe laboratory working procedures.
Knowledge and skills to perform PBMC sample processing as required or willingness to work toward same.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills preferably in a clinical environment, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and clinical staff.
Demonstrated problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
Excellent computer skills with high level competence in database entry and spreadsheets.
Proven excellent attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
