About the role

Join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting our laboratory operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with a range of tasks in Histology, Cytology, and Mortuary support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Histology & Cytology Support: Assist with housekeeping, filing, data entry, specimen tracking, reagent management, microtomy, and automated stainer maintenance.

  • Mortuary Assistance: Provide support in admissions, releases and preparation of deceased persons for viewing.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist with regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure smooth operations.

  • Team Collaboration: Work across Anatomical Pathology areas, multitasking and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

  • Health & Safety: Adhere to policies, report incidents, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.

About you

  • Customer-Focused: Brings demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a laboratory setting, with the ability to communicate effectively and follow established protocols and procedures.
