NSW Health has recognised challenges within clinical coding processes and is currently implementing a statewide solution of Computer Assisted Coding (CAC), Computer Assisted Clinical Documentation Improvement (CAC_DI), Clinical Engagement Nudges and Clinical Coding Audit methodology. Join our team to pioneer innovative system change across a state with an existing comprehensive Electronic Medical Record (EMR) coverage.

What you'll be doing
Operating as the key technical advisor responsible for business-led technical advice in clinical coding, clinical documentation improvement and clinical code auditing.
Facilitating and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors, in particular NSW Health clinical coding and business functions, processes and workforce to ensure sustained engagement and successful outcomes.
Supporting change management and implementation of change activities in collaboration with other stakeholders to meet program/project schedules and objectives.
Providing expert advice on the opportunities and anticipated change impact of proposed products, solutions, functionality or workflows will have for NSW Health
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
Expert knowledge and extensive experience in clinical coding using ICD-10-AM and ACHI.
Knowledge and experience in electronic medical records and clinical coding solutions.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
