- Lead and coordinate a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care within the Drug Court Program.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day clinical and operational functions to ensure integrated, effective and accountable service delivery.
- Contribute to a structured, therapeutic rehabilitation model supporting long‑term recovery for court‑referred participants.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians, judicial partners and community‑based services to support positive health and social outcomes.

- Ability to manage complex situations with professionalism, empathy and sound judgement.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to remain calm, focused and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications which provide eligibility for membership with a professional organisation and/or current registration with AHPRA where applicable. A Counsellor must hold as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in counselling or a related field (other qualification such as Social Work, Welfare or Psychology will be deemed equivalent).
- Describe a time you reviewed a clinician’s assessment for a Drug Court (or similar forensic/AOD) client and identified gaps related to risk (e.g., current charges/antecedents, mental health, DV, child protection). What was missing, what actions did you take (including any changes to triage/treatment/transfer-of-care), and how did you ensure documentation met medico‑legal and program requirements
- Can you give an example of how you have led a multidisciplinary team in a way that actively supported staff wellbeing—especially during periods of high complexity or emotional workload? What strategies did you implement to prevent burnout, maintain morale, and ensure the team continued to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care?
Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
