About the role

You will be working with InforMH - A team responsible for data development, collection, analysis and reporting for NSW public mental health and suicide related services, and the analysis and reporting of data from the NSW Suicide Monitoring System (SuMS). In this position of Systems Development Officer, you will work within a passionate team to directly support the NSW Health system and its services. You will manage data collections that support mental health and suicide programs and initiatives, and you will support data validation, monitoring and reporting processes to produce outputs to schedule, working with a range of stakeholders.
Health Manager Level 2 starting salary from $118,821 - $140,201 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing, implementing and monitoring processes to support operational reporting and security.
- Validating, reporting and supporting resolution of data quality issues.
- Developing and producing regular reporting.
- Managing the collection and production of National Minimum Dataset (NMDS) outputs to schedule.
- Reviewing NMDS specifications and updating outputs as required.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Demonstrated ability to display initiative, capacity to multitask, meet deadlines and prioritise work in a high-volume work area.
- Demonstrated experience in developing reports using a variety of tools such as MS SQL and Power BI to meet business requirements.
- Ability to document processes, create specifications and organise and present information in a clear, logical and systematic way, including demonstrated experience with accurate record keeping.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing data and applying quality assurance principles to ensure good data quality and integrity.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of helpdesk assistance in respect to information systems.
