Sustaining NSW Families Social Worker (Level 3)
- Degree in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Extensive experience working with families with complex clinical presentations in relevant clinical settings such as perinatal mental health, child protection, domestic violence, and substance misuse.
- Demonstrated advanced therapeutic skills in conducting complex psychosocial assessments and counselling with the ability to respond to the needs of vulnerable families (e.g. CALD) in stressful situations.
- Extensive clinical experience providing clinical consultation and facilitating case review, in the context of family centred casework within a community based multidisciplinary team.
- Substantial experience in developing and maintaining co-operative professional relationships, with other health teams, government, and NGO agencies using well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with high level time management organisational skills and computer literacy.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the willingness to use for work purposes.
