 What you'll be doing 
This role ensures a safe, hygienic environment at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals while providing strong supervision and support to general services staff

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety

  • Supervise and guide frontline services staff

  • Support quality service delivery for all users

  • Foster a safe environment for patients and staff

  • Promote excellence in hospital general services

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience in the operations and supervision of staff within a large and complex healthcare organisation or similar environment

  2. Ability to lead, review and implement changes in work practices to ensure that standards, policies and procedures are met

  3. Demonstrated understanding and application of Work Health Safety issues including the ability to apply risk management processes

  4. Demonstrated high level ability to plan, organise and lead a cohesive and effective work team

  5. Highly developed computer skills and competent in the use of Microsoft office programs, electronic payroll and relevant intranet applications.

  6. Commitment to provide continuous improvement, outstanding customer service and a positive workplace culture.

  7. High level interpersonal skills including sound oral and written communication ability
