Stroke Coordinator

What you will bring to the role

1. a) Registered Nurse with AHPRA with minimum 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field and post graduate Nursing qualifications relevant to the field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the employer or; b) Degree in Occupational Therapy or recognised qualification by the board and current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or; c) Dietitian with tertiary qualification in nutrition and dietetics and eligible for membership with Dietitians Australia or; d) Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia or; e) Degree in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or; f) Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current full national Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA.
2. Good understanding of stroke care, its management and outcomes.
3. Demonstrated ability to initiate, complete and evaluate quality improvement projects, contributing to the National Standards accreditation tool
4. Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills, particularly negotiation, with all disciplines.
5. Demonstrated experience in managing and facilitating a successful team environment
6. Demonstrated understanding of work health and safety legislation along with a demonstrated ability to develop, manage and maintain databases and analyse database information.
7. Level of Information technology literacy in Office automation programs (including word processing, email and spreadsheets)
8. Current driver's license and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
