About the role
SydPath is a leading pathology service based at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, providing high-quality diagnostic and clinical trial services across NSW.
The Strategic Pathology Partnerships Manager will drive SydPath's growth strategy across private practice pathology and contract services, including clinical trials, by building strategic partnerships, securing new commercial opportunities, and overseeing best practice in contract governance.
This is a rare opportunity to lead strategic growth in pathology within one of Australia's most respected healthcare organisations.
You Will:
- Lead and implement business development strategies to grow SydPath's presence in private practice pathology and clinical trials.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with key organisations to unlock new commercial and research opportunities.
- Oversee contracts, tenders and commercial risk management to drive profitability and safeguard long-term success.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to promote new technologies and ensure outstanding customer experience.
- Represent SydPath at industry events to build brand presence and stay ahead of emerging market trends.
About you
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proven track record of delivering business growth in the pathology sector, including involvement in clinical trials and new laboratory technologies.
- Extensive experience in contract management, compliance, and developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and delivering strategic initiatives across complex healthcare environments.
- Current NSW driver's licence and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
