About the opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and well-organised Storeperson to join our team. The Storeperson will be responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels and control within the store. Critically this role involves ensuring the safe and accurate receipt and secure storage of all incoming materials, undertaking accurate stock control checks, investigating variances and establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving stock location and storage methodologies. A mindset of “everything in its place and a place for everything” is essential.
The Storeperson will work closely with transport, maintenance and production staff to ensure the right material or component is available in a time bound manner. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a fast-moving store, or warehouse environment and a demonstrated ability to organise, plan, and prioritise workloads effectively. Use of inventory management systems will be highly regarded, and a forklift ticket is essential and a MR licence or higher is strongly desired. A strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and a proactive, team-oriented approach are also essential.

This position will be on the day shift from 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work as required.
