Fairfield Hospital SSD is seeking an enthusiastic Sterilisation Technician Grade 2 to join our busy and dynamic team

  • We process a high volume of surgical instruments and loan equipment, requiring staff who are adaptable, motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional service

Are You the Right Fit? 
Fairfield Hospital SSD is a busy and fast-paced department with a significant volume of loan instrument sets and specialised equipment requiring timely processing and fast turnaround

  • The role requires the ability to follow instructions, understand priority requests 
  • Certificate III in Sterilising Services is a must, experience in processing Loan equipment and Dental instruments is an advantage 
  • Ability to work in a busy, physically demanding environment with frequent handling of instrument trays and loan sets and the flexibility to work rotating shifts to meet operational requirements 
  • Be part of a service that directly supports operating theatres and clinical care across Fairfield Hospital
 

Selection Criteria

  • Do you currently hold a Certificate II or III in Health Service Assistance (Sterilisation Services) or equivalent? Please attach a copy of all relevant qualifications with your application.

  • Fairfield Hospital SSD is a busy department with a high volume of surgical instruments and loan sets requiring fast turnaround times.
