The Role

The Redevelopment Change and Commissioning Coordinator will provide expert advice and support on all facets of commissioning that relate to the St George Stage 3 Redevelopment Project.  The role has a specific focus on effective planning for business continuity processes, emergency response and preparedness and scenario testing to support  operational readiness, transition planning to achieve the service objectives of St George Hospital.

Reporting to the Redevelopment Project Manager, the Change and Commissioning Coordinator will work closely with clinical users and the broader Stage 3 Redevelopment Team.  The Coordinator will manage the day-to-day requirements of the role with a high degree of competency, skills and enthusiasm.

Selection Criteria

  1. Registered Nurse who holds current unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated experience in overseeing effective change management in a health service
  3. Highly developed negotiation, consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders and objectivity in decision-making.
  4. Health clinician with extensive clinical and/or senior management experience in Emergency or a critical care setting
  5. Demonstrated experience in policy, planning and/or service development
  6. High-level knowledge of inter-relationship between models of care, facility options and departmental operational policies and procedures.
  7. Experience and/or knowledge of 'Clinical Redesign or AIM Methodology' for change management as recommended by NSW Ministry of Health
  8. Well-developed written and verbal communications skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the project team, management and key stakeholders.
