The Spinal Plastics Service at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert clinical advice in the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Spinal Plastics Service (SPS) is a Statewide service which provides a high level of quality care to Spinal Cord Injury patients with Pressure Injuries. This service delivers a comprehensive inter-disciplinary management to Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) patients. The SPS has a consistently high demand requiring highly specialised clinicians who are experts in Spinal Cord Injury and complex wound management.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrated skills in computer use and applications such as Windows, word processing and database.
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
