About Us

We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Speech Pathologists to join our short term staff pool. This role involves delivering high quality, evidence based Speech Pathology services at various locations within the NBMLHD. You will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, maintaining clear and accurate documentation in line with service requirements, and responding flexibly to the needs of the service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable accepting work at short notice and able to travel across various locations within the district, depending on the contract offered. You’ll need to quickly adapt to new work environments and demonstrate a commitment to responsive, client centred care. Flexibility in working hours is available, with both full time and part time arrangements negotiable for the fixed term of up to 13 weeks.

What you will bring to the role
- Diploma or degree in Speech Pathology, eligibility for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Recent post graduate Speech Pathology clinical experience in a hospital and/or community health setting
- Experience in the independent management of a wide range of adult and/or paediatric swallowing and communication disorders
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments quickly and recognise when to seek advice
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
