About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide senior clinical leadership within the Speech Pathology service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology that provides eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and/or research focused on patient/client outcomes.
- Has Excellent negotiation, decision making, and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
