This is an exciting opportunity for early career Speech Pathologists to work in the dynamic Speech Pathology department at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney. The caseload includes inpatient and outpatient components of the Speech Pathology service, and the successful applicants will be required to participate in a day-shift rotating 7-day roster. The weekend work involves a service to the Emergency Department and inpatient units. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate experience in the assessment and management of paediatric feeding and dysphagia, and communication disorders. Experience in the acute care setting, disability sector, or Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies is desirable but not essential.

Responses to the questions below:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of paediatric feeding difficulties and dysphagia
- Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Experience in conducting and interpreting instrumental assessments of swallowing is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and to seek clinical advice as necessary and appropriate for safe clinical practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Capacity to participate in a rotating weekend roster.
