- Assessing and treating speech and swallowing conditions
- Working across paediatric and adult patient groups
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participating in research and staff development
- Potential for 1 extra workday based on service needs

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Registration: Eligible for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in the management of adults with acquired swallowing disorders, and experience in the administration of objective swallowing assessment procedures is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of adults with acquired communication impairments.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of Evidence Based Practice, commitment to professional development and experience in quality management or research.
- Experience in working in both acute care and rehabilitation settings.
- Experience in providing speech pathology services to stroke and aged care populations.
- Current driver's license
