Are you an experienced clinical pharmacist ready to lead, influence practice, and drive high-quality medication outcomes? At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are seeking a senior pharmacist to provide specialist leadership across our pharmacy services in the Haematology/Oncology Team.


About the Opportunity

As a Pharmacist Grade 3, you will provide specialist clinical pharmacy services and professional leadership across Haematology/Oncology. You will play a key role in advancing medication safety, quality use of medicines, and service excellence. In this role you will:

• Lead, coordinate, manage and develop pharmacy services within the defined practice area to achieve clinical, operational and workforce performance targets.
• Provide specialist clinical leadership, acting as a resource, mentor and peer supervisor to pharmacy staff and other health professionals.
• Identify, plan, implement, evaluate and report on continuous improvement initiatives to promote safe, effective and efficient medication use.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and key internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, patient-centred pharmacy services.
• Review, validate, dispense, compound and check medicines to ensure timely, safe and appropriate therapy and support patient flow.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Current registration as a practicing pharmacist with AHPRA and broad generalist and/or specialist clinical knowledge.
• Significant experience delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services with advanced clinical judgment.
• Proven leadership capability with strong communication, mentoring, and relationship-building skills.
• Well-developed problem-solving, time management, and prioritisation skills within complex environments.
• A commitment to professional development, evidence-informed practice, and continuous improvement.
