Cardiac Technologist Grade 2: $55.41 - $61.31 per hour
Radiographer Level 3, Grade 3: $80.18 per hour
Nuclear Med Technologist Level 3, Grade 3 - $73.85 per hour

Nepean Hospital is seeking motivated and highly skilled Sonographers to join our Casual Pool and support the delivery of exceptional diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As part of one of the Medical Imaging Department, you will work alongside experienced Radiologists, Sonographers, Radiographers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, contributing to high quality patient care across a diverse range of clinical presentations.

What you will bring to the role
- Employment classification and grade will be determined based on qualifications held by the candidate. Radiographer level 3 Grade 3: Degree in Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent course recognised by the MRPB and holds a qualification recognised by ASAR and current accreditation with ASAR. Nuclear Medicine Technologist level 3 Grade 3: Diploma or Degree of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognised by the accreditation board of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) and holds a qualification recognised by ASAE and current accreditation with ASAR. Cardiac Technologist Grade 2: Applicants who are not eligible for appointment as Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Diagnostic Radiographer will be appointed as Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 and holds a qualification recognised by ASAR and current accreditation with ASAR.
- Relevant experience in Sonography
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage time effectively in a clinical environment
- Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety, and Infection Control in a Sonography context
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
