About the Opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU). 

We are looking for a Sonographer Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 to provide comprehensive echocardiography services and to work with the other sonographers and medical staff to achieve a high standard of diagnostic and clinical services.

 

Where you'll be working

The Sonographer Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two and 13 weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions:

  1. Accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

  2. Postgraduate qualifications in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer and performs Cardiac Sonography.

  3. Detail your experience in performing echocardiography and in your response include the systems you have used.

  4. Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
