Role Requirements

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the following criteria in your application:

  1. Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social workers (AASW)
  2. Extensive experience in social work with knowledge of Older Persons Mental Health service models in community based and inpatient settings
  3. Demonstrated, high level verbal and written communication skills
  4. Demonstrated commitment to strengths and recovery based practice with experience and understanding of models of consumer participation
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills/experience in clinical practice, supervision, quality improvement and service planning
  6. Proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature
  7. Computer literacy including MS Office applications & relevant health databases and systems.
  8. Current NSW Driver's Licence (Class C – unrestricted)
