Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the following criteria in your application:
- Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social workers (AASW)
- Extensive experience in social work with knowledge of Older Persons Mental Health service models in community based and inpatient settings
- Demonstrated, high level verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to strengths and recovery based practice with experience and understanding of models of consumer participation
- Demonstrated leadership skills/experience in clinical practice, supervision, quality improvement and service planning
- Proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature
- Computer literacy including MS Office applications & relevant health databases and systems.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (Class C – unrestricted)
