Social Work Team Leader Acute Care Team Northern Beaches Hospital

1. A Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). 
2. Evidence of advanced clinical experience in an acute health setting as a Level 3 Senior Social Worker.
3. Demonstrated experience in management and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.
4. Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement and skills in providing training and education.
5. Well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills and high level computer literacy.
6. Demonstrated excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels. This will be required for both clinical and management components of the role.
7. Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
