Where you'll be working
The Eurobodalla Health Service is located in the Yuin Nation on the beautiful south coast of NSW. It is a networked service spread over three campuses, with two hospitals co-located with community health, Batemans Bay and Moruya, and a standalone community health centre in Narooma collocated with the library.
The NSW Government has announced $260 million to build in Moruya, a sustainable, modern and purpose-built hospital to support the needs of the entire Eurobodalla Shire from Narooma to Batemans Bay to service the ever-growing coastal population. This new facility is expected to open to patients in 2027. The hospital will be a Level 4 facility, offering a wider range of services than the existing Moruya and Batemans Bay hospitals combined. It will include features like: Paediatric and maternity beds, Special care nursery, Mental health beds, Education and training facilities, and Simulation lab.
The project also incorporates Aboriginal cultural elements, including the use of Dhurga language for wayfinding and a dedicated Meeting Place. The hospital will be a significant step in providing modern, accessible healthcare services for the Eurobodalla region.
