About the Role
The Grounds & Maintenance Officer is responsible for maintaining the grounds and outdoor areas at Singleton Hospital to a high standard. This includes mowing, gardening, weed control and general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
The role also supports other staff with basic maintenance duties and works in line with workplace health and safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience or willing to learn in gardening, grounds or general maintenance work
- Able to carry out minor repairs
- Communicate well and work cooperatively with other
Training, Support & Benefits
You’ll start with a comprehensive orientation to the facility, followed by extensive training on gardening practices and plant equipment.
We also provide a full health and safety induction to support staff wellbeing. And throughout your time here, you’ll have ongoing support from the Grounds and Maintenance team.
