About the role
eApproval is an online application which enables the end-to-end document management and workflow solution of all briefs, Ministerials and correspondence. The application enables NSW Health’s vision for a digitally enabled workplace with streamlined management of approvals.
We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of testing activities, assisting with the development and implementation of test solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ICT / digital systems in accordance with the business strategies and operational expectations and requirements.

What you’ll be doing
• Ensure timely completion of functional, integration and other testing activities as well as identify, coordinate resources and execute testing requirements.
• Build, maintain test automation frameworks including automation scripting using different scripting languages (i.e. JavaScript, VB Script, Perl, python).
• Analyse detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to develop testing strategies that reduce the risk of system outages and identify system defects.
• Analyse and consolidate information to help develop test cases to support achievement of testing objectives.
• Develop, modify and maintain existing tests scripts as part of the operational aspects.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
• Extensive experience in planning, coordination and execution of testing activities in a large and complex organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes assisting with the development and implementation of test solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ICT / digital systems in accordance with the business strategies and operational expectations and requirements.
• Experience and knowledge in SQL, scripting and test automation including knowledge in writing behaviour driven development scripts and understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• High level analytical ability to analyse detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to develop testing strategies that reduce the risk of system outages and identify system defects.

• Provide an example of your demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment outlining your ability to analyse detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to develop testing strategies that reduce the risk of system outages and identify system defects.
