What you'll be doing
This senior speech pathology role delivers advanced care for paediatric feeding and swallowing, supporting vulnerable families across Blacktown and Mt Druitt Campuses. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Leading outpatient services for complex paediatric feeding
- Applying expert clinical judgement and problem solving
- Guiding best practice in neonatal and paediatric care
- Supervising staff and lead quality improvement
- Supporting service development and team operations

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in the management of medically complex neonates with feeding and swallowing disorders in the outpatient setting.
- Demonstrated and recent experience in managing complex paediatric developmental feeding and swallowing disorders in the outpatient setting.
- Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary team with minimal direct clinical supervision, displaying excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective internal and external partnerships.
- Actively practices the principles of Evidence Based Practice and engages in recent professional development for relevant clinical areas.
- Current Driver's License is preferred.
