Cardiac Technologist Grade 2: $55.41 - $61.31 per hour

Radiographer Level 3 Grade 3: $80.18 per hour

Join our team within Perinatal Ultrasound at Nepean Hospital, a tertiary level referral centre for obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound, and play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services within a specialised clinical environment.

 

As a Senior Sonographer, you will perform obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations in accordance with current guidelines. This role will involve appropriate interaction with patients, relatives and other members of staff. You will also contribute to the development of future practitioners through the teaching of students and participate in research projects within the department.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Possess the following qualifications and registrations: Cardiac technologist: Recognised sonography qualification and current registration with ASAR. Radiographer: 1. A Degree in Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography and a recognised sonography qualification 2. Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner. 3. I14 Radiation Licence from NSW EPA. 4. Registration with ASAR
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and clinical experience in obstetric ultrasound across a range of examinations.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and a high level of communication, written and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums including the ability to effectively engage with a multidisciplinary team at all levels of the organisation. Interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills and be able to lead change.
  4. Demonstrated ability to supervise, instruct and trainee sonographers and medical staff.
  5. Demonstrated well-developed problem-solving skills
  6. Demonstrated commitment to personal Continual Professional Development
