About the Opportunity
As Senior Solution Architect of our Clinical Repositories & Integration Services team at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions within projects/programs by developing agreed solution architectures aligned to enterprise-wide architectures and standards.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and guide project teams to deliver key milestones while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
- Define and drive ICT solution architecture aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment, endorsement, and effective solution evaluation.
- Oversee implementation of architecture across the project lifecycle, managing changes and ensuring design traceability.
- Monitor interdependencies across programs, manage risks, and promote continuous improvement and strategic awareness.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Extensive experience in in designing and architecting large-scale, centralised digital health solutions in complex clinical service environments.
- Proven experience in technical leadership and solution architecture roles in delivering technology solutions
- Expertise in shaping strategic direction and standards to guide technology investments and support enterprise architecture.
- Excellent understanding of healthcare interoperability with hands-on experience in HL7 (V2.x, CDA), FHIR, and clinical terminologies incl API design.
- Proven ability to translate clinical and business needs into scalable, standards-aligned technical architectures
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across clinical, technical, and operational domains
- Experienced in modern public cloud environments (preferably AWS and Azure) and API-driven, service-oriented architectures
