- MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
- Previous experience in the critical care disciplines of Intensive care, Anaesthesia or Emergency medicine, Evidence of training/competency in advanced life support.
- Evidence of completion of an introductory course to Intensive Care Medicine such as BASIC, or equivalent
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgment, expertise and demonstrated teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated interest and willingness to teach Junior Medical Staff and be involved in research.
- Preparedness and ability to work independently in a supervised environment.
