Selection Criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligible for membership with AASW. Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology (with a minimum four year degree with a major in Psychology and reregistration with the Psychologists Board of Australia) and registered with AHPRA.
  2. Extensive experience in mental health clinical and vocational rehabilitation with knowledge of best practice mental health rehabilitation principles; current models of practice; and ability to plan, implement and evaluate clinical and vocational individual and group rehabilitation programs.
  3. Demonstrated commitment to consumer participation, and a strengths based and recovery focused approach in service provision.
  4. Excellent negotiation, decision making, advocacy skills and ability to collaborate within the Multidisciplinary Team and a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
  5. Experience in providing in-depth consultation, education and supervision to staff to enhance service excellence.
  6. Advanced clinical reasoning skills and leadership in navigating challenging and complex consumer care situations.
  7. Ability to initiate, lead and implement quality improvement and service evaluation processes.
  8. Current class C NSW Drivers Licence.
