Senior Psychologist (Southern Zone), Healthy Workplace Strategies
- Completion of a recognised four (4) years full time in study from a recognised tertiary institution and a minimum of five (5) years post registration experience.
- Full registration as a psychologist in NSW with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge, skills and experience in trauma informed practice, psychological assessment, counselling, crisis intervention and critical incident response.
- Experience working in the emergency services sector and/or understanding of the challenges faced by emergency services personnel.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff through a demonstrated awareness of own strengths and development needs and the impact of own behaviour on others.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs to all levels of staff that promote employee mental health and wellbeing.
It is the responsibility of all staff to report and respond appropriately to any instances or perceptions of bullying. Managers are required to implement actions that either prevent or minimise the risk of unacceptable behaviours, ensuring unacceptable behaviours such as bullying, harassment and victimisation are identified as early as possible and responded to and effectively managed.
