Senior Program Architect
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health. We are looking for:
- Over 10 years of experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager in large, complex multi-disciplinary organisations, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including clinical staff, administrative staff, IT staff, and Health Executives.
- More than 5 years of experience planning and coordinating program activities, leading and supporting program teams to foster collaboration and coordination across stakeholders.
- Extensive experience (over 5 years) in evaluating and optimising program performance by implementing PMO and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Proven track record (over 5 years) in managing full software development releases using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies, from requirements elicitation to go-live, with a focus on patient flow, emergency care, virtual care, and/or patient billing functions.
- High level of documentation skills with extensive experience developing a range of documents including and not limited to Business Cases, Statement of Requirements/Works, Functional Design Specifications, Process Maps Current State and Future State Gap Analysis, Change Impact Assessments, and Data Dictionaries in a public health setting.

- ODS Program operates in a fast-evolving landscape. How do you stay ahead of emerging technologies and translate them into practical solutions for delivery teams? Share examples of how you’ve done this in previous roles.
- What aspects of the Senior Program Architect role do you anticipate being most challenging? How would you draw on your experience to overcome these challenges and ensure successful delivery?
- Describe how you led the design or recovery of a digital solution in a public sector setting preferably with a health focus. What challenges did you face? How did you ensure stakeholder alignment, technical feasibility, and delivery success? What lessons did you carry forward into future programs?
