About this role

The role is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of perinatal and infant mental health services across NSW.
You have a chance to make a real difference to families that experience mental health challenges in the perinatal period by working with local health districts, service partners and other key stakeholders to support and optimise perinatal and infant mental health care.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Lead, advise and support the perinatal infant mental health system across NSW.
- Work collaboratively with clinical networks and other key stakeholders.
- Design and develop evidence-based policy, programs and initiatives.
- Review, monitor and evaluate to ensure continuous quality improvement for services delivered to families.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of perinatal/infant mental health, parenting, child development and attachment theory.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences or similar; or substantial equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and effective delivery of mental health policy and projects including workforce management, inter-relationship between models of care, contemporaneous evidence base and innovation.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in undertaking all stages of the policy cycle (development, implementation and review).
