About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and motivated Physiotherapy team in an acute care setting at Dubbo Health Service.

This senior Physiotherapist role will be providing high level physiotherapy clinical skills across acute inpatient wards, as well as in Orthopaedic, Fracture and Hand Therapy clinics. The role will be required to demonstrate advanced skills in the care of acute orthopaedic conditions in both inpatient and clinic settings, including traumas, elective procedures, amputations, collars/braces/splints, casting and other fracture management. Experience in Hand Therapy is beneficial but not essential.

The role will also demonstrate the ability to provide general acute clinical care and discharge planning across inpatient settings. The ability to provide clinical supervision and support for junior colleagues and students is essential, as well as capacity to advise other colleagues across the District in your areas of expertise when needed.

Support for the role is provided by other experienced senior clinicians and the wider Physiotherapy and Allied Health teams.

The Senior Physiotherapist will implement, evaluate and report on services, as well as identify, develop and lead quality improvement activities to ensure the delivery of high quality and consistent care.
