Nepean Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Paediatric Dietitian to lead and deliver advanced clinical nutrition care to infants, children and adolescents within our Multidisciplinary Paediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing tertiary hospital environment providing expert care across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings.
As a Senior Dietitian your role will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff, contributing to service development and advancing best practice in paediatric nutrition. You will provide expert clinical assessment, nutrition planning and intervention for paediatric patients with complex medical needs whilst collaborating with Paediatricians, Nurses and Allied Health staff to deliver holistic, family-centred care.

What you will bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
- Extensive clinical experience and expertise in the nutritional management of neonate and paediatric patients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, build networks and function at high levels as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and teaching skills including well developed skills in advocacy, negotiation and in the provision of clinical supervision to dietitians and students.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and complete quality improvement and service evaluation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to service management via review of service provision, practice development and/or redesign to improve services, operations and outcomes
- Current NSW drivers licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
