About the role:
MLHD are seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a crucial part in improving the lives of children with diverse needs, helping them reach their full potential through evidence-based occupational therapy services. You will work within our skilled team of Occupational Therapists and our wider Allied Health Team to support our Paediatric caseload.
As the Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:
Provision of a comprehensive and effective occupational therapy service in collaboration with consumers, their families and carers using a range of clinical and professional interventions
Work collaboratively and where appropriate lead the multidisciplinary team to optimise health status and well-being of each client/patient and carer
Involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification, development and leading of clinical practice and quality improvement activities with other staff.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current AHPRA registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience in Paediatric Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
Experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.
