As a Senior Engineer, this role focuses on the design and deployment of enterprise WiFi solutions across campus environments, ensuring high performance, scalability, and secure access. Working with engineering leadership, it translates business and technical requirements into robust wireless designs aligned with enterprise standards.
The position enables seamless connectivity and supports automation, monitoring, and continuous optimisation to maintain reliable and efficient wireless services, while acting as a key escalation point for complex WiFi related issues.
In this role, you will:
- Work along with Principal Engineer & Platform Owner to gather customer, business, operational, and technical requirements for campus networking solutions.
- Experienced in implementing and managing a Cisco SDA fabric (WLC, AP, Cisco ISE, Catalyst 9K series switches, Catalyst Centre)
- Provide technical advisory and architectural guidance to internal teams and customers on Campus Access technologies including Wired, Wireless, NAC, and network automation platforms.
- Work along with Principal Engineer & Product Owner to prepare High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) that align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and operational requirements.
- Independently implement Campus Access solutions - Wired, Wireless, Guest, BYOD and IoT.
- Leverage existing automation platforms to support provisioning, software lifecycle management, assurance, and telemetry-driven insights.
- Implement identity-based access control solutions for users and devices, supporting secure onboarding for corporate, guest, BYOD, and IoT devices.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging networking technologies and industry best practices to improve enterprise campus networking services.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of enterprise network services and products, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and problems related to Campus Access technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to deliver integrated networking solutions.
- Drive operational excellence by analysing service performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and enhancing network reliability.
- Ensure compliance with organisational governance frameworks, including change management, incident management, and operational processes.
- Develop technical documentation, deployment standards, and best practice guidelines to support consistent implementation and operations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to support capability development within the team and across the organisation.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Extensive experience in designing and planning deployments or expansions and managing the support and maintenance of network infrastructure (Wired & Wireless Campus access, SD Access, DOT1X Wired & Wireless, Network access control) in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in the development and implementation of maintenance programs, including managing change to improve the performance & capacity of the network.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting network related information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including influencing decisions to ensure that complex information is simplified and communicated effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting information to prepare reports, for the purpose of achieving business focused solutions.
